Reflective Teaching: Day 6

Explain: What does a good mentor “do”?

ECO-Environmental-Mentorship-Program

To me, this picture really sums it up.  They are a person who can help you succeed at whatever you decide to pursue.  They are someone who becomes a good friend, but can also look at your work through an analytical lens and give you constructive feedback based on those observations.  They can provide you with resources for areas you lack in, or are interested in.  If they don’t have the resources, they help you track them down.  They are someone who you can feel comfortable with, for they have the tough job of pointing out your shortcomings as well as your strengths.
